Anna Ilina created her first large–scale project in 2018 after becoming the architect and curator of the exhibition Lingwe Universala in Sevkabel Port.
The exhibition played a significant role in popularising the new public space.
In 2022, the exhibition Looking Glass took place within the walls of the Manezh central exhibition hall. Anna Ilina, the architect of the project, adapted St Petersburg's largest exhibition hall to the original chamber genre of painting — provincial Russian portraiture of the 18th and 19th centuries.
